After your facial

Aftercare that makes your glow last

Your skin just did real work. These steps help it take full advantage of the facial and avoid irritation. They are general guidance: if your esthetician gave you specific instructions of your own, follow hers.

Your skin's clock

Hour by hour, day by day

01 · The first 24 hours — Gentle with everything

Makeup is best skipped; if you need it, keep it light. No sauna, steam, or intense workouts: heat and sweat irritate freshly treated skin. Do not exfoliate, do not touch your face with unwashed hands, put on a clean pillowcase tonight, and wear sunscreen if you go out.

02 · Days 2 and 3 — Hydrate, pause the actives

Gentle cleansing morning and night, no brushes or rough sponges. Pause retinoids and acids (AHA, BHA, strong vitamin C) until day 3, unless we told you otherwise. No waxing or threading on the area for 3 to 5 days, and no direct sun: your skin is renewing itself.

03 · The first week — Ease back in

Bring your actives back one at a time and watch how your skin answers. What you see in the mirror this week is the facial's real result: more even texture, better light, less congestion.

04 · Always — SPF is the aftercare

Daily sunscreen is what protects your investment: without it, the facial's work fades in weeks. It is the step that turns a good facial into skin that stays changed.

After a peel

Light flaking can happen between days 2 and 5: that is normal, and part of the process. Your only job is not to intervene.

  • Do not pull at loosening skin — let it shed on its own
  • Moisturize more than usual, as often as your skin asks
  • Direct sun: off limits this week, no exceptions
  • Makeup once your skin feels calm, not before

After technology

Hydration and sunscreen, without fail. Avoid intense heat for 24 hours and strong products on the first day: the technology already did the stimulating — your skin just needs calm to respond.
